對食物的偏好
仔細想想,我喜歡墨西哥料理,泰國料理,日本料理
除了日本料理以外
另外兩者都有酸酸又辣辣的共同特色

墨西哥食物裡面尤其偏愛----捲餅類
[其實我也是舉凡捲都愛的人,春捲,潤餅,手捲,墨西哥捲.....]
墨西哥薄烙餅裡面包著滿滿的餡料
一口就可以吃到各種不同的材料
實在非常營養,健康又方便
註: Tortilla---墨西哥薄烙餅有玉米粉 ( corn tortilla )和麵粉 ( flour tortilla )兩種。

我的最愛
BURRITOS
A soft flour tortilla filled with cheese, onion, tomato salsa, corriander, beans, a sprinkle of jalapeno chilies and the filling of your choice
Chicken or Spiced Beef/ Vegetarian (Refried beans with rice filling and topped with guacamole)
Served with beans and rice [配上好吃的墨西哥豆豆]
曾經在美國連續幾餐都吃burritos也不膩呢!

另外幾種利用墨西哥薄烙餅變化的菜色也很好吃

ENCHILADAS
Two corn tortillas rolled and filled with cheese, onion and your choice of filling then covered with a mild tomato chili sauce and oven baked.
Chicken or Spiced Beef
Vegetarian (topped with Guacamole)
Spinach and Cottage Cheese

QUESADILLA
A soft flour tortilla filled with cheese, onion, tomato, sour cream, guacamole, corriander, beans, and the filling of your choice. Grilled on the hot plate and served with beans and rice.
Chicken or Spiced Beef
Vegetarian (topped with Guacamole)

CHICKEN FAJITAS [Friday常見的法式達]
Strips of chicken breast marinated in soy, garlic, herbs and spices then pan-fried with onion, capsicum and jalape闒ocho chilies. Topped with tomato and corriander and served on a sizzling hot platter with two flour tortillas, beans and rice on the side

CRISPY TACOS
Two crisp taco shells with the filling of your choice plus salsa crudo, beans, shredded lettuce and tomato then topped with grated cheddar cheese.
Chicken or Spiced Beef/ Vegetarian (Refried beans with rice filling and topped with guacamole)
Served with beans and rice

Nachos [下酒聊天的好伴侶]
Corn chips covered with cheese, onion, beans, sour cream and a mild chili sauce. Oven baked

不知道為什麼,墨西哥料理的餐廳總是給人一些些髒髒的感覺
在台中墨西哥餐廳也不例外
青蛙,Finga's,瑪莉盒子,墨西哥經典,美食鄉村鵝廚房等
還有貴一點的Friday's,Chili's等連鎖店
各家的味道都已經調適成符合臺灣人的口味
但價錢就各有高低了
比較起來,我比較愛吃Finga's的捲餅
因為除了料很實在以外,還附上了一碗豆泥呢

其實墨西哥捲餅是非常容易做的輕食料理
所以一些咖啡店
西雅圖咖啡,布里斯朵,法義達,風尚等也可以隨時吃到墨西哥捲餅
甚至最近連McCafe也賣起了墨西哥捲餅
不過比起墨西哥餐廳賣的捲餅
咖啡店賣的就更是輕淡許多

另外要推薦的是新光三越/中友美食街裡的Ranch 1美式速食
他們的雞肉捲,烤過的雞肉加上番茄cheese等餡料,不油不膩,配上爽口的salsa source,真是百吃不膩!!!

Costco的墨西哥軟捲餅也是清爽健康的好選擇喔!
